INTERACTIVE MEDIA

DESCRIPTION

The BFA in Interactive Media offers a comprehensive curriculum in the theory and practice of the interactive world. The focus of the programme is threefold: interactive installation and device creation; game design; and scenography and interactive theatre design. The practical weight of the course takes the form of projects in which students create works involving interaction with video and sound (both live and pre-recorded), design and execute virtual and real stage settings for live actors and dancers, and create a computer game from conception to completion. The ultimate emphasis of the programme is to cultivate the conceptual and practical skills expected of a first-rate creative artist in the multiple disciplines of the field.
