Project Description
A documentation of an Abui folktale, the Mon Mot Mon, a legendary snake that consumed the inhabitants of an entire village. Recounted by four interviewees, the folktale comes to life as part of history and memory, revealing dark messages of foreboding and forethought.

About

Daniel started off with a keen interest in photography which propelled him to venture into the world of motion pictures. Together with some of his classmates, his short film “Chase Tomorrow” was one of the finalists for the 2013 Cathay Motion Picture Awards. He spends his day recording daily life and experiments with these footages in order to create riveting short films. He believes in the work of non-profit organisations and is eager to work with them in order to reassess social issues. His previous collaborations involved SADeaf and the plight of construction workers in Singapore.
