Encounter is a series of paintings that addresses the artist’s Christian faith. It draws upon a multiplicity of art influences such as process painting, German Romanticism and botanic illustrations. Through these references and using iconic biblical imagery, it attempts to give form to that which is on the outer edge of the human core experience.
