Project Description

The Luminaries is a visual translation of Eleanor Catton’s Man Booker Prize-winning novel of the same name. A reconsidered adaptation of the original book’s narrative structure, character development and plot, the project presents a different manner of authoring — whether the change in medium has altered the communication of the book content is put to the test.

The Luminaries is an old-fashioned mystery tale of fortune, greed, lust and murder.
