By all accounts, Nancy and Joan have a typical mother-daughter relationship. A simple fact changes everything between them. In a country where traditional and contemporary values do not always mix, mother and daughter have to find a way to overcome this friction that is tearing them apart.

Petrina Anne De Souza draws influence from events and people that impact her life, and hopes that others may be positively impacted by her works. Petrina is particularly interested in writing and is optimistic in finding a career in the industry that will allow her to pursue it. Petrina’s fondness of literature has led to her exploring the parallels between film and poetic imagery, an idea that formed the basis for her final-year film, “Little Maud”.
