Stemming from the observation that the local design industry is rarely discussed in school and amongst my peers, coupled with my own lack of awareness about the industry I was hoping to join after graduation, ‘We, the Creatives of Singapore’ is a project that attempts to consolidate and add on to the scattered conversations and research on local design studies. 

Through documenting the experiences and opinions of current practicing designers, presented together with my own writings based on research and personal experience, the project hopes to capture some of the changes in the local graphic design industry, in addition to presenting to a wider audience, a glimpse of how the industry is like.
