Evelyn Chen

Evelyn finds inspiration in the lived experiences and stories of Singaporeans, and is committed to making films that not only educate and inspire, but also move people and create awareness.

As a director, her most recent work is The Last Shoe, a film that was made in collaboration with the Peranakan Association and Alzheimer’s Disease Association (Singapore). She also directed a documentary titled 玲, which is about a child of incarcerated parents and is screened at Salvation Army conferences worldwide. Evelyn has also worked for production companies that produce international shows for National Geographic and AXN (Asia).
