As a storyteller, Dzafirul Haniff is drawn to the moments of reality that shows the human emotion in subtle clarity. He engages himself to tell stories through any medium possible such as documentaries, fictional films, short stories, graphic novels and photography. Constantly looking for narratives ‘on the other side of the coin’, Dzafirul seeks to combine visual vocabulary and personal experiences to compel audiences into ‘living’ a cinematic world. His inspirations come from idle moments of people-watching and off-the-cuff conversations with strangers and friends.
