Lau Hong Hu

Hong Hu is an aspiring director and cinematographer who is currently based in Singapore. He spent a semester at the School of Creative Media in Hong Kong broadening his knowledge on filmmaking.

Being an avid traveller, he is inspired by the richness of cultures and traditions of various communities. These social and cultural issues have become a constant theme in his art works and films. One of his films Hang With Me dealt with the psyche of HIV patients, in which it was selected as a finalist for the Digital Art Against AIDS 2011 short film competition.
