Michelle was intrigued by the storytelling elements of a moving image as a child and her curiosity of how the amazing sets she sees in cinema and television screens are what made led her to pursue and explore the art of filmmaking. She admires the beauty of being able to create one’s dreams into reality through filmmaking.
She was also involved in the post-production stage of a research project titled Jalan Jati (Teak Road), which was shortlisted for the French Prix COAL, Art & Ecology Prize May 2011 and attained the Promotional Award of the International Short Film Festival Oberhausen.
