Shawn Chua

Shawn is a filmmaker who enjoys being amidst nature as well as interacting with strangers. He believes that these two activities offer him a multitude of perspectives to the world around him and helps him to create works that deals with the sensitivity of themes dealing with nature and the human condition.

Shawn is also the recipient of the Spring 2012 Film Festival Fund awarded by the University of Texas at Austin for displaying excellence through the production of his short film The Game. The films he made during his collaborations have also been screened at Berlin and Rotterdam Film Festival.
