Daryl Goh

Plurality illustrates the amalgamation of the interior and exterior space. The multiplicity gives the space a consideration that is symbolic of the environments we live in, formed by human emotive transactions over time and place.

Double-sided Efflorescence depicts a flower with a broken shatter as its bud. By disorientating the flower's symbolism, it portrays the image with both positive and negative implications. The work is inspired by an economics idiom that "One man's loss is another man's gain." There are always two sides to a pretty or broken surface.
