Guo Yao

As a visual artist, Guo Yao’s work deals heavily on personal experiences and recollections. Working with diverse mediums such as photography, video art and installations, his craft revolves around social and environmental agendas. In addition to exhibitions held in Singapore, Guo Yao’s work has been displayed at international festivals in the United States and Korea. He has clinched numerous awards, including a recent win at The Crowbar Awards (Silver). Guo Yao graduated with a Diploma in Film, Sound and Video at Ngee Ann Polytechnic and is currently completing his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at Nanyang Technological University.
