Jonathan Tan

Jonathan is currently pursuing his Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Photography and Digital Imaging at the School of Art, Design and Media, Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. He was born in Singapore but left for China in 1992 only to return in 2006. Much of his approach to art is influenced by his experiences in a foreign land. His photographs mainly deal with the relationships between man and the urban landscape and it’s changing implications on each other. He has exhibited at the Pingyao International Photography Festival 2012 and won Crowbar Gold for Conceptual Narrative category in 2012.
