Teresa Chiok Enqi

Teresa is a self-portrait artist, constantly exploring conceptual ideas of dreams, memories and relationships in particular. She believes that by being the subject matter, it gives her the capacity to indulge in, and direct every aspect of the image-making process, thus making her a photographer who is both expressive and empathetic. As a ballet dancer who is sensitive and meticulous towards movement and form, Teresa is also one who religiously documents and examines dance, thereby establishing dance as the core theme in most of her works.
