Chew Kia Hwee

Possessing a compelling interest in visual language, philosophy, aesthetics and mathematics, Kia Hwee is concerned chiefly with creating, as well as researching on contemporary art and design. His body of work reveals an ardent and enduring interest in the psychology of perception, significance of material and the interplay of immaterial forces. He sees no extensive distinction between art, design and science since the 21st Century is in pursuit of trans-disciplinary investigations to bring forth new systems of research – further extending the frontiers of knowledge.
