Ng Qi Yang

With a background in fine arts, Qi Yang seeks to blend the traditional medium to his practice of graphic design by explorations of drawing, painting and mixed-media works. His works are an investigation into representational forms, often exploring the thin line between figurative and abstraction. He seeks to portray truth in his works, in which elements of realism are the focus in the images he creates. He is able to depict ideas that can only be realised in drawing by focusing on techniques and materials. His works are notable for their edgy finish and tactile nature.
