Every Man needs a desk.

Furniture has always had a close relationship with mankind for thousands of years; one is always in physical contact with it every day.

The Desk however, is a more recent construct. Countless ideas, inventions and innovations were made when its user was sitting (or standing) behind it.

Its function has evolved closely according to what he needed. The form was therefore, secondary. It is only in the past hundred years that designers have begun to put form before function, and strived to create the most beautiful desk.

Eugene started out his journey as a designer in graphics and illustrations, but rekindled his love for making things when he entered ADM; he claims that Lego was his best friend when he was a kid. As a product designer, he is passionate about consumer electronics, home appliances and furniture design. As an individual, he is obsessed with music and gadgets.

Eugene believes that successful designs are often the simplest, yet do not compromise the usability of the product, resulting in a harmonic balance between function and form.
