Amalgamation : a collection of the intermingle cultures in Singapore with a modern take. The motif, Amalgam, is a hybrid flower of Peony and Vanda Miss Joaquim. The garments are designed progressively with the use of the Chinese button knot and fabric-like lace textile made from water soluble fabric and sewing thread. The collection consist of 4 ready-to-wear outfits, along with 2 statement pieces. The statement pieces showcase the hybrid of traditional and western silhouette which is followed with a piece that celebrates the unity of cultures, embracing the idea of modernization.
