A Simple World
‘A Simple World’ makes use of the gallery space to explore the
unique interaction between physical and virtual game play.
Moving around the space, players are invited to interact with
our light devices to pick and mix different colours. These
colours are each associated with a different emotion that would
influence the game’s narrative.
The narrative revolves
around Character A, an ordinary being living out their ordinary
life. Throughout the game, players follow them through their
daily life and can choose to influence Character A’s decisions.
In presenting Character A in such a light, we hope to present to
our audience the consequences of their reactions, in a more
exaggerated scenario, to contemplate their own experiences in
life and the way they react towards them.
