I Was A 10-Year-Old Wildlife Trafficker
Project Genre: Multimedia Patchwork Installation
Project Description: This project concerns the supply chains of the illegal wildlife in Singapore and abroad. As the illegal wildlife trade is a lucrative business, it is important to understand the motivations for these practices; not just the financial aspects but also going through the emotional and psychological processes. With better understanding of the psychology behind the demand and supply of exotic animals, we might be able to prevent such practices. My final project will reveal a series of interconnected stories from a fictive child’s perspective; considering contemporary patchwork with multi-media as a means to visually-communicate my research as a whole.
