Russell is passionate about creating stories, his focus is in screenplays as well as prose fiction. He is also keen on experimenting in different mediums. Before coming to NTU’s Filmmaking, he majored in Animation at Nanyang Polytechnic. He enjoys reading different material and believes that stories are most intriguing when they bring together diverse ideas in novel ways. He sees the visual arts as an avenue for narratives, one that thrives without verbal explication.
