Project Genre: Design for Food Storage
Project Description: A large proportion of food wastage within the home is due to users forgetting about what is stored in their fridge, thereby causing the food stored to exceed its expiry date. My project deals with the process of futuristic scenario where RFID tags are embedded into packaged perishable food, allowing easy tracking and visibility. Salvridge is a smart fridge that is equipped to sense these RFID tagged products and assists the users to manage their purchase and consumption of food.
