Project Genre: Photography Installation
Project Description: Jasmine Lim Jie Min is concerned with the constant illumination in Singapore where the night appears to impersonate the brightness in the day. We are so accustomed to the well-lit environment that we neglect the true essence of darkness. The lights in Singapore, especially along the corridors and the road, focus on function rather than aesthetic quality so that the beauty of night no longer exists.
