Project Description: CruSh is the first women's climbing magazine in Singapore. Created out of a love for rock climbing, design, and women, this FYP seeks to be a key driving force in empowering women in the sports arena. This project is a metaphor and a representation of the climb culture: a giant collaboration of talented, determined individuals. Bold photography and edgy typographic treatment underscore the language of the magazine series. Through this project, the artist positions herself as an activist for women's fitness and wellbeing. Marrying movement into the realm of visual communication, this FYP seeks to expand, inspire and empower the female rock climbing community.
