Project Description: Unwind is a project that delves into the inner psyches of the difficulties and importance of releasing control. It is natural to assume that we are gaining greater control when we tighten our grips over a certain object; however, in that state, a question surfaces: are we being controlled by the object instead? Unwind explores releasing control through balancing and embracing tensions in different situations. Aimed at easing and inspiring the process of letting go through abstract narrative, imagery and metaphor, Unwind is a collection of original literature, photography, art, and real life stories of real people releasing control.
