新谣: 我们的心声 (Xinyao: Our Voice) is a semi-bilingual memory-cum-lyric book project on Xinyao, a genre of Singapore Mandarin music from the 1980s. Aimed at preserving the history of this unique local culture, the book features Xinyao songs I resonate with, personal anecdotes and illustrations inspired by the lyrics.
