Project Description: We yearn for stability, permanence and treat our homes as a place to belong and a form of investment. However, with the uncertainty of the future with global displacements, how long and to what extend will stability and safety last in Singapore? 0.05 Room Portable Flat proposes a portable housing system that is a blank structured space for anyone to make it into their own home. It is a compact and temporary home for one person in any space. The system is based on a folding structure and wing nuts; therefore can be easily assembled and disassembled by hand in a very short period of time.
