Project Genre: Visual Identity and Design of Packaging System
Project Description: Face Value explores geographically separated relationships in order to curate experiences that may bring the couples closer together while promoting cross-cultural understanding. As technology bridges our communicative experiences, what we perceive as separation and presence is distorted. Hence, the aim of this project is to fulfil the void that cannot be conveyed through digital media while studying the limits of connections across different times and spaces. Face Value is expressed through emotionally charged gift packages, derived and customized from intricacies of a distance relationship: scents, memories and experiences, while mechanically looping cinemagraphs ceaselessly reminds viewers of absence and persistent longing.
