ECOffee
Project Genre: Sustainability Design
Project Description: ECOffee is a composite material made from recycled coffee grounds and bio resin thus making it a perfect illustration of upcycling and creating a sustainable environment. The material is envisioned to have a high quality tactile finish reminiscent of a combination of chocolate, leather and stone. The ECOffee stool is manufactured by compression molding with a few molds being compressed together. The form depict as a modular structure to allow interactions that connects the user’s senses to the product via a sense of play, it is also space saving due to its stackability.
